what places in Manila would you recommend for a visit?

The first thing that comes to mind is the old walled city of intramuros because of its history and efforts in the past years aiming to make it more attractive to tourists. The there are the malls and shopping centers like the SM Mall of Asia, Greenbelt at the Ayala Center etc.
Off the beaten track, there's Chinatown and Binondo. I hear there are walking tours in the area nd the food there's great.
How bout you, what interesting places in Metro Manila do you have in mind?

If you were thinking of visiting a place in Manila, when you are a toursit from outside the Philippines, I prefer to suggest a place near Manila. It should be BOHOL, PHILIPPINES. or you could visit Duca Bay, Cagayan De Oro, Dakak Park Beach in Dapitan City, Boracay of Aklan and Tinago of Iligan City. Such places I have mentioned are nice and paradise like places. Most tourists from different part of the world would prefer to visit such places. The place is nice, paradise-like, safe, peaceful, affordable, world class facilities and services and sure you would enjoy your stay.

hi! thanks for the response. I agree, but I was thinking more of which tourist attractions in Manila we could be proud of. I mean, some people just don't see Manila as worth visiting etc. But I believe there are places out there in the metro that are just waiting to be discovered or rediscovered. happy mylotting!
