I'm curious to know what people would like me to write about? What types of discussions are you most likly to read?Gossip, true crime, local crime, real life, what is your cup of tea and what do you find yourself responding on the most?I was surprised to see i only got one response to a discussion i started about the missing girl Caylee Anthony.I always try to what happens to appeal to me at the moment, but i want to know what appeals to you.

One thing that you can write about is about something you know, something you might have seen, someone you know. Think about it and eventually it might change into something. This is one thing you might want to keep in mind.
Another thing you could write about is something that you are interested in. Whether it's medicine, law, fashion, literature, art, ... whatever. It may not necessarily be something you know. True, if it's something you're not entirely familiar with, it will take up some time to do some research. But in the end, you're learning something that you find interesting.
And personally, I don't think writers should spend their career writing only on things that they know. Eventually they'll run out of ideas. But hey, that's just me. These are just some suggestions.

Marquita, I want to know how to start discussions. I have the thoughts and questions, I just don't know how to start them. I can respond, got that down pat. How do you open discussions? I tried searching for the answer yesterday and got no where.

I write about what I know. I write about whatever I am thinking or feelings. It just helps to get it all out. :)

I like to read stories that have a lot of action in it. With action I don't mean shooting and explosives. I'm talking about a story that has a lot of things happen in it.
I prefer to read stories that are based on real life or reality. Not stuff like aliens or whatever but something real. You know when you watch a drama movie you get tears in your eyes? I kind of like to see that back in a book. Something that hurts you when you read it. Hope that helps.
