Hello folks,
i wanna present you a proposal for the new UCSA (United Communist States of America) flag.
Do you like it? please leave your comment. If we get enough entusiastics comments we will suggest this flag to the new Zar... ops i means president ;)

I do not like your proposal for a new American flag. Did you take notice that we had an historic transfer of power from on political party to another without any violence or controversy? That doesn't happen in a Communist society.
Your proposal is an insult to the millions of Americans who pulled the lever on November 4th for the candidate of their choice.
People all over the world celebrated American Democracy and many hope and pray that American style democracy will one day come to their countries.
If you disagree with Barack Obama and his proposed policy changes then you have many options.
I suggest that you and those who have concerns contact Barack Obama at http://www.barackobama.com. If enough of you with opposing positions state your opposition, I'm sure he will take it into consideration.
In conclusion, I see that you are a very talented individual. I'd suggest that you take your God-given abilities and put them to use in a way that will benefit the American people.
Work with us to bring our country together as opposed to tearing us apart. Ask yourself if it will hurt you to try and meet us half-way.
We are facing difficult times in the United States and we are going to need each and everyone to be part of the solution instead of being part of the problem.

Lloyd, why be insulted by what this guy says? It is Obama, the one you voted for who wants to change the American flag to make it friendly to other countries. It is Obama who wants to change the anthem. The very man you voted for. I don't see anything unfriendly in our flag to other countries. What is it? The star, the strips?

Hello Lloyd,
i'm sorry if you felt hurted by my flag, and be sure, i'm agree with Obama. I guess that specially when things become hard, who have much more should care about who have less, and in a nation this means rise the tax for the richest one, to provide some assistance to the poors.
My flag is just a provocation to the ones that "read" in the Obama proposal, a way to turn usa into a communist or a socialist country. I'm sure you can see so many posts alerting for the risk of communism related to Obama. To be sincere not only posts, also US Congress members interviews ;)
About work with you and take my God-given abilities and put them to use in a way that will benefit the american people, i'm sorry, but i can't go in te USA. My passport is quite old, but still valid, and USA decided that the ones that have an old italian passport (released before 2006) need to get a VISA to visit US, that is not needed for the ones with the new kind of passport. Due our country let ALL the americans enter here WITHOUT VISA, i guess ask us to get a visa (that have a price! and is not so cheap) is a violation of reciprocity treats, and i decided to don't visit USA.

You know, I believe that elected representatives should reflect the people that elected them. As you've noted, pierone, there are plenty of people who still believe in a Red takeover, so no, I don't believe it's dangerous to have some elected representatives who question the leanings and beliefs of their fellow representatives. I'd consider it far more dangerous if the government (as represented by its elected representatives) did not allow those people who think differently to serve even if they are elected by their constituents. Bachman was reelected - her people have a right to be represented in Congress. That's what democracy is about.

To be sincere i'm totally agree with you. But seems lot of americans, and the worst is at least a Congress member too! (don't you think is dangerous have people like that one in the congress?), are thinking obama wanna a RED TURN in USA ;)
Just read above, or read some other discussion i opened on this topic, and you will find some people thinking in this way.

I see your point. Since Obama wants to change everything from the flag to the Athem to the way we live...I like our flag the way it is. Why we need to make our flag friendlier to other countries, I don't know. Are they doing that for us? The more Obama does these things, the weaker we look. I am so ashamed that our country voted for him. Nothing is good enough for him. He buys the election so he can own a country, change everything and tell everyone what to do. A man after power.

See my response above. Obama has never said anything about wanting to change the flag or the national anthem. Period. That was written in a satirical column by conservative columnist John Semmens, who made up the entire quote for his syndicated column Semi-News. You're welcome to your opinion, but at least base it on facts rather than on a story that has been discredited all over the place. It would make you a whole lot more credible.

I guess you should try to let him work, before judge his job. If i'm not wrong he will became President on Jan 20, right? so why you all there don't relax, and watch what he will do?
Who can say, maybe you will be surprised, and things could go better there.

There have been some rumors that Obama feels our national anthem is "oppressive" to foreign countries and that our flag should be redesigned to "friendlier" to other countries.

When these UCSA will become true? And do you guess they will change the official language into russian or chinese?
Do you guess UCSA will get the 51 state? I mean, once the communism starts in UCSA, they could get into the confederation also Cuba, aren't you agree?
