Sticking banners on a website does NOT make it a blog. Key word being blog.

Yes, you have to write something (blogging) in order to call it a blog. I have a ptc website where I list all my banners and I have a ptc blog where I give advice about ptc. I love reading other peoples blogs especially all the scam stories. Its fun reading the different ways people express themselves. But lately all I see is a so called blog with a bunch of banners on them. So tell me, do you know the difference now between a blog and a website?

I feel the same about blogging: you have to share your experiences! I've started my blog with this on my mind and because of this i will not only put some banners just to get referrals: i want to share what i lived and why any of these programs that i'll talk about are good, or not... Most of the people that see my blog won't join any programs. But that's ok! They will know somehow through another person experience what to avoid in PaidTo's tricky world.

I would rather join under someone who wrote about their experience rather than just list a banner, like coffeebreak stated above. That means you are a true member of the site and you know whats going on at the site.

yes...I agree with you and now-a-days blog has lost its real meaning content writing. Blogging itself tells us that we can get some information from that and many are just putting out their banners and sitting ideal.....Website can have banners but blog should contain matter

I started out blogging but thats a lot of work - first misconception about blogging. I finally just created a website which is much easier to maintain. I didnt give up blogging totally though. I check in from time to time. Thanks for comment.
