Are You Living Above Your Means?

This economy is in turmoil as I feel we are in recession. Despite that, do you still live above your means and check to check? Or do you have money saved and are surviving these days with no problem?

I try not to spend too much money. I only babysit a few times a month for an hour at a time, so that's about $10 a week, then I get money from my online earnings once or so a month which adds up to only $20 or so a month if I'm lucky and maybe $40 a month in babysitting so I don't earn much. However, I've had to spend quite a bit lately because of projects and other things so I'm definitely spending more than I should. I really haven't spent money on frivolous things though so at least I'm not buying things I really don't need.
