Do you remember who showed u your school toilet for the first time ?

I was 6 when I started elementary school at a little red brick school house with one teacher teaching 9 grades. There were 23 children attending when I started. it was a mile and a half to school in the morning and a mile and a half back home again in the afternoon. It seemed to be uphill both ways. There were two Cloakrooms in the school each with a cubicle for the toilet. One for the boys and one for the girls. We hung our coats and hats in the cloakroom. The toilet was a seat over a chemical tank that was pumped out once a year. It served the purpose quite well, as there was no smell and it was quite sanitary. However there was no sink or running water in the school. no place to wash your hands and drinking water had to be carried in a pail from the pump at the nearest neighbors. The school had no lights and was heated by a wood stove in the middle of the classroom, which would get red hot around the sides when the weather got very cold in the winter.

i dont remember ,but i think i must have gone wid a friend of mine when i was 3 yrs old

Honestly, I don't take note of such things. I believe it was my teacher, though; simply because it makes the most sense for it to have been.
