Answering from email..but yes they are ways to prevent them from being able to call you. But then all they would have to do is use a different phone and call. You should talk to your local telephone company and see if they offer those services. I know mine does. You could also try telling them that you will call the cops and tell them your being harassed if they don't stop and they might stop. If they don't follow through with threat and even better if you have Caller ID to prove it.

Nope not really. You can get a epo against them though maybe that would stop it. I am sorry though that you are having to deal with this kinda stuff it can't be easy. I would just tell the person you called the cops..maybe that is enough to stop it for awhile atleast.

Yeah. I can see you've never dealt with the cops before. They dont do anything.

That doesn't work. We've been taking the phone off the hook for most of the day every day now. And this person calls more when you say the person isnt home. It's gonna take more than a hint.

If it's a cell phone, it might be under network services... that you could block specific numbers.
Some people don't take a hint. My husband's sister is like that even if it is 1am she'll keep calling non-stop until we answer. Usually it's something mundane. ((Sigh))

I guess it depends on where you live. I think in some areas it's possible to and in others it's not. Perhaps call your phone service and ask? I think it has to be done by them. I'm sorry I don't know how to help, I've never had such an issue before.
Is it someone you know? Because if it is, you could just have a talk with them and explain how their constant phone calls are an annoyance (politely, of course =P).
I would probably just put my phone on silent and ignore the calls until they stop calling, or turn it off for two weeks or something. xD Then again, you probably need your phone on more often than I do.
