My husband is making me ill. He is constantly picking at his feet and ears, but that is not it. He then smells his fingers. What am I going to do. Is this a normal man thing?. I sure feel ill when I see him doing this and he will not stop when I nag him. I have told him to do it in his own time but he will not listen. What is your husband or wives most annoying or disgusting habbit. I bet no one comes close to this one.

Thanks for your reply Dawn. That is not so bad. I think I could live with that one, but too you it is probably annoying. I just give up with my hubby. I have to walk away now when he does this bad habit. I am going to tell my Mum to speak to him. I have told him to do it when I am not there, but I might as well talk to the wall. Hows you?

Oh, that's nasty! I though I had a problem... My husband annoys me to no end when I ask him a question and responds with a different answer. Like I'll ask if he got the mail earlier and he'll reply that the only thing that's usually in the mail for him are bills. Well, does that mean he got the mail and it was just more bills or he didn't get the mail because he doesn't want any more bills??? I always have to ask him the exact same question twice (at least) to get the answer to my question.
But I think I'd rather put up with that than your husband, sorry!

I wont call it annoying or disgusting may be a little disturbing. She never initiates a thing like a conversation or a deed. When I start she interludes and try to correct me.I find it a little annoying at times as I am a very independent person who don't want to be disturbed as I concentrate.

Thank you for your reply. Yes I can see that would be very annoying for you. I think your wife might not be the only women that does this though.
I think we have to tell people sometimes (but in a nice way) their faults, as they probably do not realise they do these annoying things. Take care and thanks again.

I do't know if it's considered a habit or not, but, my wife constantly talks in too low of a tone. People including family members have to ask her to repeat herself constantly. Yet she still almost whispers. It is not our hearing that's bad woman. Hahaha! My daughter does the same thing actually that you mention. She picks her feet and heels so much that it bleeds actually. Ewwww! But she does not sniff her fingers. YUCK!!
HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB!!~

So this is not a man thing then. O no. What am I going to do with him? He is disgusting.
I think it might be your hearing if your daughter speaks softely too. I suppose this is way better than hearing them shouting. (or smelling their stinky fingers like I have to put up with)

Well i'm not either is a habit or just being somehow, but my wife would always when she is talking will slap on my back at all time and whats annoying is that she always talk lound
I remember when i just met her and one day when we were in a taxi full of people and she couldn't stop about the topic we started lately, i mean she was letting everybody know what we were talking about and she was always looking for me to comment on whatever she was saying and i felt like wow i'm gonna have a nice life with this woman.
But whats annoying is the fact that she could talk louder even when we are in public.

Oh dear. I know what you mean, my mother is like that also. She always grabs my arm all the time and tells everyone her buisness because she talks so loud.
Maybe if you told your wife she is doing this, it might make her realise it and she might stop. It is embarressing when someone does this, but I bet she does not even realise her mistakes. Just tell her. Goodluck at least her habbit is not disgusting. It is embarressing and annoying.
I have to put up with a husband with disgusting habits and he will not listen to me. Help! Take care loxion.

Hilda,
My partner of 5yrs likes to have farting competitions with our sons...Thats ok...Normal...A boys thing, so I am told...But when I am eating...That is a real turn off!!!...I go off my ROCKER when he does this and it ruins my meal and I end up not eating!...But the worst habit for him is picking his nose and flicking or placing the 'booga' on a piece of furniture...One time when I was about to wash a dinner plate he had just used, he had done the deed and I could see he had placed his 'treasures' on the plate!...After throwing a tanty...I disposed of the plate...After all...Someone else has to use that and I did not want that!...Happy MyLotting

Oh! No! He is as bad or probably worse than my husband. I think all men do the farting thing, but when you are eating thats awful. I would feel sick also. I feel sorry for you.
Now the picking the nose thing is really bad, and flicking it, omg. Tell him he must do this in private, this is so disgusting. Then he left one on a plate for you to clean. I am so glad you threw it away. What are we going to do with these disgusting habits of theirs? I am sorry you have to put up with this also. Nagging them does not work for it either with me.

Hildas, my fiance does the same thing with his feet. Under his feet, his skin is really dry. And I mean really dry. Sometimes, what he'll do is that he'll be picking at the dry skin, and pick it off. I'm always scared that it's just get really bad, not to mention the fact that it just grosses me out! Every time I see him do that, I beg him to stop doing that. Though I wouldn't be too surprised if he kept on doing this bad habit of his, while I wasn't looking.

I find it annoying when I use to call my exgirlfriend and she would be doing something else and then asking me to repeat.I though that showed a lack of regard for me and poor etiquette ,but then that was just me
