I am currently collecting books and magazine so i can create my own vision board. for those of you who don't know what a vision board is, it's just a board you use to put pictures, goals, and other things you want from life onto. just a regular board that the kids use for science projects and such. You put your things on the board and spend some times each day looking at it and finding that joy and happiness that will come from knowing this things will soon come when the time is right.
I am collecting my pics and goals right now to get mine going. Do you have a vision board? If you started one today, what are some of the things you want on yours?

A Vision board? That is an interesting concept.
So far, other than putting up a nice picture of what I want as the wallpaper on my PC, I have not done much to get a vision board set up.
I will see if it is feasible to get one for my home.
Must see where I can put it up first!
Heh heh heh... snap shot of your vision board when it is done?

All you need is a large piece of cardboard, glue, tape and some really cooll pics of things you would like to have. pics of places you would like to go. a pic of a great house you would like to live in, or a company you would like to work for. It doesn't have to be something really big that will take up a lot of room. just big enough to put on it what you would like to have

Hi 34momma!
I would love to create a vision board. I've thought of it often. I do habitually write my goals down, but creating a board is a wonderful and creative way to help things manifest for yourself!
If I make one-- no, WHEN I make one, I will put joyful pictures-- pictures of flowers, spirituality, creativity, money (yes, I need some), my dream home (superficial, but I think it's important to love your surroundings), etc.
What pictures will you put on yours, momma?

i would put up pics of a wonderful garden. i am not much with flowers but i love the beauty in it. i would put up a check for a nice sum of money of course. like you my dream home, pictures of me when i was at my ideal weight, pictures of my family happy and smiling so we can always know how much we love each other. a picture of this great apartment building i have had my eye on for two years. i don't have the money right now to buy it, but i love real estate and it has been a dream of mine to own an apartment building. and there will be some personal goals and affirmations on there

I don't have a vision board like what you've stated i.e board with pictures of your goals and sorts, but I do have a WORD document that I have cut and pasted pictures onto, of what I invision or hope for my future and my families. I haven't looked at it in a long while, I might just do so today. Hmmm maybe it might be better to bring it out and have it up on the wall so I can see it everyday?

A kindred spirit, I thought I was one of the rare few who knew about this.
What I have are goals, inspirational quotes, pictures of what are "paradise" to me, healing and meditative pictures and quotes. Bits and pieces of my life for that year (ie: photocopy of our marriage license, milestones and steps of my kids in picture form). I love the cathartic feeling of a vision board, it's almost therapeutic in ways.

Since it is in "The Secret", it is not so rare :)

This is a great topic. I have a vision board, you are not going to belive this, a year ago when my husband and I watched the secret we decided to make our vision board, he put a litle baby boy and I put a nice civic honda on it. three months late I was pregnant and we bought that car. The law of attraction works, if you want somenthing do it. I read somenthing in Succes Magazine about Jim Carrey that he wrote to himself a check a thing was for 10 millions dollars. He carried that check with him in his wallet until he succes as an actor and he cash that check. It's unbelibable. Good luck to you.

i started collecting pictures awhile ago for my vision board but i realized that i wouldn't be comfortable showing my vision board to anyone (well, not exactly show because i had planned to keep it in my room but family members or even house guests might still see it). what i did instead is make a vision wallpaper for my laptop. nobody has access to my laptop and i still get to see it everyday. is that ok?
