Does anyone feel that we come into contact with too many chemicals?

I recently started a eye opening business in which I have come to learn all about the chemical effects the personal products we use on a daily basis have on our bodies and our environment. From the shampoo that we use to the toothepaste and laundry soap we are saturating our bodies with unbelievable amounts of chemicals that adversly affect our health. What is scarier is the fact that the companies that are producing these products don't seem to care. They are interested in the bottom line and that is it. If it sells it is ok regardless of the consequences. While I am not really surprised by any of these revelations I have certainly been prompted to do something about it, at least on a personal level. Does anyone else feel the same way? Are any of you willing to do something about it as well? If so, let me know and I can point you in the right direction. Thanks, Jay Yerex

Some toxic chemical found in personal care products are related to either cancer or neurological disorders. And yet week after week these products are being sold by retailers and consumed in large quantities by the American people and the rest of the world and who remain oblivious to the real damage these products are causing to their health. I think everyone should be made more aware of this. It would be made more aware if we where eating things like this. I centainly welcome anyone that is making this more puplicly aware. I would not be willing to invest in anything, but I will listen to your idea.

Thank you so much for bringing this to my attention. This is all shocking news. Why is this going on. Why does no one care. As you say for money reasons but this is just outrageous. I am putting my childrens lives in danger. What do you really think of green products? Are they bad too? This needs to be addressed. I am shocked. It just shows that most people will be like me. Unaware. Take care and keep in touch on here.

It kind of bothers me seeing it in all the foods and other things but it's near impossible to avoid some things. Are there any things that are simple and not expensive you can do to change it?
