I dont knwo why everyone is tryin to save there youth soo bad at any extreme! me are made by God to grow old..now dying of hair..and over the counter tries..im all for..but going threw hell in surgery and injecting yourself with Lord knows what?? This madness needs to stop!! what are your thoughts on this and cosmetic precedures..?

In Korean, facelift is quite common and popular, many girls try to use it to make them more beautiful. Here people think that there is no nature beauty in korean, only have man-maded.
Maybe to the woman, she can not afford the fee to have the facelift, while try to do it by herself.
No matter how beautiful, the facelift can help you be, it is a surgery. You have to take a great risk for its outcome. If you did it by yourself, there is only a word I can say. Unbelievable.
Beauty can draw more attention, and usually can have more chance in many place. But I think to a woman health is more important than beautiful look.

I agree with you.
Keep the nature face which we get from our parents is just OK. Though many people think that I am a plain girl, I still love my face and do not want to make any change on it.
Beautiful women really have more chance to draw men's attention, but that can not help them more. If a woman take too much care about her face, there is only one word I can say" she lost herself, and can just be a toy."
Now I think many women can stand on their own feet, have their own career and go to the top of the society. So to them, there is no need to make men happy. Live in their own style, do what they want is enough. While men think high of that kind of women. Beauty comes out in that way.

You know what is sad? that people became so obsesed with the beauty they actually even think of this.
Years ago noone would even come to that idea, people were beautiful as they were. Take for example the 50's no matter whose photo you see they all look beautiful, and its not like they didnt have anything wrong with their faces but you can see they were happy and thats what they project tohrough the photo and thats what makes them beautiful. its all in the energy.

OMG! I have to say that she is nuts. What the hell was she thinking? I'm sorry but I think that she got exactly what she was looking for; because of her stupidity. Maybe is not too okay upstairs cause not many people would be willing to do what she did.

That is the craziest beauty secret that i have ever heard of. Women have been doing crazy things to their skin anyway. Like paying to inject poisons into their face. Take botox for example Botulinum toxin. that is the correct name for it. Botulisum is a form of food poisoning that someone gets from eating neurotoxin produced by the bacterium clostridium botulinum. Need i say anymore. If you look at that cooking oil doesnt look so bad. lol

Oh that is just really sad that someone has such low self esteem. The article did say she was addicted to plastic surgery but it makes you wonder how she got to that point doesn't it? People need to know they are beautiful by God's standards, not by what the media and entertainment industry tells us.

Who in their right mind would do that to their self. That is so awful. I feel bad for her, but then again I don't. She should have known better then to inject cooking oil under her skin. What are some people thinking these days. I really don't know. I agree this madness needs to stop. Scarring yourself for life trying to become eternally beautiful. Ridiculous. Maybe this will wake some people up to be happy for what they look like.

OMG is right, eeww! That woman needs mental help as well. This just goes to show how people view aging. Wonder if it would help if we treated elderly with alot more respect. I am not going to have procedures done unless something happens and I am disfigured. Otherwise like Susan Sarandon says " I earned my wrinkles".

Well I'm probably going to be perceived as a cold hearted person but oh well...What kind of idiotic moron would even think that cooking oil would obtain anything besides exactly what it did! A nightmare! Geesh! Sorry but you gotta wonder about the mentality of some people!
I'm really not cold hearted but I don't have much tolerance for stupidity!

Some people will really go to great lengths just to be beautiful, but the question is, is it worth it? I do not think so. I would never do what this woman has done. I would be doing my face more harm than good.

It is so sad. People are so desperate to look a certain way according to media standards of beauty. And now that there are so many people who can and have achieved an ideal look due to surgery, there is even more pressure to look perfect. I was watching an infomercial yesterday for a DVD of music artists from the 70s like Carole King, Linda Rhondstat, Donna Summer, Blondie, Tina Turner just to name a few. And looking at the footage, these woman (and men too) did not have ideal bodies; there boobs weren't perfect; their faces weren't flawless, yet they were considered beautiful at the time. People were appreciated based on their natural beauty. Now if you don't look like the perfect Barbie Doll pin up, you don't measure up. Everyone can't afford cosmetic surgery and some people feel just that desperate to get that look. Now teenagers are having boob jobs before they have finished developing.

Dont know if i should laugh or feel sorry for that person. How stupid can one actually be? Maybe its just ignorance I dont know but its still stupid.
I dont mind some minor plastic surgery as long as you dont do it like every year. Some people overdo it in the search for youth. I think they should first work on there personality and mental state and then on their face. As I said some minor things are not a problem, like a nose job if it really bothers you why not, but making yourself a plastic victim is just plain stupid.

If this Korean woman did this to herself, then she is crazy. She might have some obsession to become beautiful or in achieving eternal youth by injecting cooking oil. What kind of brains she got if she really has it? So there's the result on what she did, enlargement and disfigured face. There are lots of people around the who throw out money and undergo a painful experience in cosmetic surgery to look younger. Accept it that we cannot preserve our youth and people are getting old. Save your money and stay healthy.

That's really gross! and wierd. and dangerous. I have also heard about women in hollywood who do extreme surgeries for their entire body, all in the name of beauty! But, personally, I don't think a tight looking, expressionless face looks beautiful...at all. If I were them I'd just donate my money to charities instead of wasting it around dangerous procedures that could endanger your health.

Where did she hear that kind of cosmetic enhancement? Using cooking oil. Of course if she is in her right mind she would not do that, if she want to look younger she should consult a professional first before she did something bad to her face, or why not just use cream? I just hope that she is okay right now.

She probobly thought she was doing somthing similar to botox. But she is an idiot to think that she oould self treat herself with cooking oil. Vanity has no bounds as people will go to any length to achive a look. I think that low maintenance should be the definitive goal when it comes to cosmetics and hair and cloths etc. I like short simple hair and simple inexpensive cloths and don't worry about wrinkels and things like that. Stay reasonably slim and skin will not be a problem. We all grow old just accept it.

oh,my god.that's really shock me.but are there some proof that say it's safe.i absolutely wonder.and can the cooking oil be taken in by body system?one people wants to be more charming, taking the action like this is too risky.i am against it.like the plastic surgery.though it's a little bit dangerous ,it's reversely safe.don't try to be brave.safe is first.
