I usually dont mind underwire in my bra but when it comes out and starts poking my chest i HATE it. Even worse is that it came out today while i was at work serving a customer and it decided to poke out the top of my shirt EMBARRASSING!
How do you keep the underwire from poking out?
I tend to end up cutting both out after one comes out or buying sports bras so theres no underwire.

You have Howard Hughes to thank for the underwire bra. I just saw it on the History Channel last week.

Set them free. Dont' wear a bra :) I don't wear any anyway! Lets go for natural things... and throw anything that put feminism down.

me too, i hate underwire bras, that's why i just buy racerback type bras so there won't be any problem with wires at all. =)

Hey saundyl! I know exactly what you mean and it really is
a horrible feeling! It really does hurt too! There is nothing
more uncomfortable than when one of those wires decides to
poke you! I have had that happen so many times! I try to sew
it and push it back in but that never works! It always manages
to poke right through again! It's just that those bras cost
so much money and I hate to get rid of them. So I end up doing
what you do and take the wires out and wear them around when
I am not going anywhere special. I can't go to far without
wearing the proper bra so I end up just wearing them for
going to the grocery store or out in the neighborhood. It is
so annoying!

I hate when that happens!!! I am a DD and I need my underwire though. I found a specific bra at Lane Bryant that is really great and well made. They have lasted me a long time. I suggest that you go for high quality bras, they might be a bit more expensive but they will save you from underwire hell and will last you longer. :)
