What happened to modesty? I know alot of ppl think, "Wow, A hot chic in low cut jeans with hinnie crack showing is Hot!" But, ppl there are some out there that do not want to see that. Let alone there are some ppl out there that should not show that. I saw yesterday a woman that did not know better I guess. She was about 280 or 290 pounds, she was bent over her garden. Wearing black shorts too small with a red thong. Which, was crooked over to her right side. It was stretched to the max. And, enough of her back side was showing that I could see about a forearms lenght of crack. This is way more then I wanted to know or see of my neightbor. How do you look someone in the face after seeing this. Let alone at church? Should there not be a law or something that states, ppl should not show body parts that should be private? I thought there was a law about indecent exposier? So, does it have to be full show or does partial count? Let me know what you think? Is the future plumbers of america look ok. or not?

Carpathian you are not alone on this one! But our RIGHTS are taking us on a pathway to unknown outcome. This is a situation everywhere in the world, and ppl just say if you don't like it see other way! This is the world we are living. The thing to think about is will it have a stop? What happen to teaching our kids by EXAMPLE? I guess ppl like us are becoming dinosaurs. Sorry to sound pessimistic but I don't see a change for the good in the horizon.

Surprising, surprising. I always thought that people in the United States did not care how one dressed. I'm from India. No, I'm not stuck up or all that, but would like some modesty. A modest woman looks better than an immodest one. In fact, immodesty looks vulgar. Since you feel this way, I think you should fight against immodesty in the country. It will definitely improve the country's image.

i guess everyone should learn the proper way of dressing, it's ok to wear those kinds of clothes, when you're on a beach... but to be in a church, i dont think one should wear those.

these days you can't even go to the library without covering someone's eyes. My brother is no 15 but i still treat him as if he is clueless... he gets grossed out at times to... he'd be like... hey look... full moon tonight =P
I was on the train and a guy's pants were sliding almost off his rump... he must have been what... 40? 50? and he didn't seem to care that most of his behind was hanging out... a lot of people shifted uncomfortably... a loud groan echoed throughout the train when he proceeded to scratch... can you say GROSS??
It isn't about overweight or thin... it is simply that a person should have some self respect at least in public places. If you are going to a night club and wearing a bikini that is your business... but i don't want to see it, i don't want my brother to see it... goes for men that wear those tight jeans that seem too tight in the wrong place if you get what i mean... like come on... are some of them so insecure that they want to show off what they THINK they have??
I am totally with you on this one Carpathian kudos to you for telling it as it is!

I really thought that fad would have faded out by now. I have some very beautiful girls who I battled with on that issue. They had the bodies to wear such things when it first became popular as well as the low cut tops and belly shirts. Oh there is no way these cute little girls were going out in public like that!! I really didn't care about what was popular at the time. What I've noticed is that the ones that actually have the bodies to make such a showing attractive do not resort to those extremes. It is always the ones that really should be covering themselves more that carry on this trend. I don't get offended. I just feel bad that no one ever taught them how to dress for their body types or the importance of modesty. I feel sad that they are so insecure that they feel that by dressing trashy that is the only way they can catch a guy. Tell me now...how often do you really see a "hot" chick deliberatly dressing that way? Where I live it is not much at all. "Hot" is more about "Class" than showing off the body whether it is a good body or one that needs work.

Hi there Carpathian
I couldn't agree with you more and the mere sight of such things is enough to make your eyes water sometimes huh? I mean, c'mon that has got be uncomfortable? I think thongs are uncomfortable at the best of times and choose not to wear them mainly for this reason! I don't see why everybody else has to be subjected to seeing such visions, I am really not interested in the colour or even type of underwear someone chooses to wear so don't stick it in my face!!!!!!

actually i do not care if they want people to see they skin more..but then sexy is a very different word from what you have said its kinda disgusting but then people should keep in mind of the word modesty, being beautiful, sexy and even hot is not just how you dress, or how much you bare but still with who you are inside

this really made me laugh !! I know and understand what you are saying. I have seen a lot of people like that. some look really sexy and hot. but some are... nevermind.. ahahahaa
anyway, i just hope people would realize that they have to dress up appropriately. they have to be aware of how they would look like when they put a certain clothes on.
the sad part is, some people do not care at all.

Well I'm a male and I know an attractive woman when I see one. However I do agree with you about the clothing situation..or the lack of. I know a lot of guys who do find it alluring when a woman hangs it all out. However I don't find it very appealing at all..it's actually more of a turn off for me. Maybe it's because I am in a serious relationship, but whenever I see a girl wearing a skirt that doesn't even cover her undies..or wearing a top that doesn't even cover her bra, I tend to just think of that person as a bit of a "sl#*". I think its much more attractive to leave a bit to the imagination!
