Do you sing when you feel sad and when you feel happy?

I usually sing to express my sadness and happiness specially when I'm alone and I don't have someone to talk to. Singing is sometimes my outlet for sadness and joy. It helps me ease the intense feeling inside me so that I would feel better. I sing because I have no one to share my problems and share when I am overjoyed about something.

I sing whenever I'm in the mood. I sing sad songs to kind of make me cry about something, happy songs when I'm happy about something and I wanna express myself about it. Sometimes I change the words around in the song if it were about someone who I super really like... And angry songs when I'm so ticked about something and I just feel like yelling, screaming, throwing stuff, vent my rage and hatred upon things with the frustration and confusion that I feel. :P
Singing about just anything for some people is a way of therapy for them to release the tension or just because they feel like it.
I written a few songs about love, hate, sadness, and situations in life where it's just reality that people face. And when it's something with a really deep meaning I tear up if I'm not use to it and having old flashbacks run through my mind... And it's just a natural emotion people have.
Hahaha I know I sound pretty messed up, but people just sing whenever they feel like it.

i definitely love to sing! Through that medium, i can express myself well and i can let out my stress from work, relationships and the like. I started to sing when i was still young, for like more or less 6 years old. My first song that i really memorized then was "Somewhere Out There" by Lea Salonga. I sang it before my family and they like it very much. They can't believed that at my young age, i can sing that song so well. Unfortunately, i haven't pursue and develop my talent... All i did for my practice is to sing in the bathroom and it takes me even longer to take a bath coz i will sing more or less 5 songs. hehehe. Moreover, it could lift up my mood and it makes me smile and feel better when i am sad.

I do sing as an expression of what I am feeling - whether happy or sad. Yes, I agree that I do this because I normally keep my emotions within me. No one to share it with.
Good day!

I think some people don't like to sing when they are sad because the song will make them sadder. Are you like them?

I'm always singing, sad, happy, neutral, always. Usually the song in a way has got something to do with my mood of the moment, it can be a link in the lyrics, the general feeling, sometimes a happy song when I'm sad, to make me happy again, or just the song that's got stuck in my head! Lot's of choirpieces too, though they can be very solemn, they always make me happy because they remind me of good choir-memories and my friends there.
