Theory of a Deadman & Nickelback sound similar?

Do you think the lead singer of Theory of a deadman: Tyler Connolly and the lead singer of nickelback: Chad Kroger sound similar?

Absolutely love these two bands and yes completely agree these two bands do sound similar vocally. Overal though must admit I do sway towards theory of a deadman. Im my opinion default have a similar sounding still too as do crossfade. Guess i'm just a sucker for a dry raspy male vocal.

Hey i never thought of default and crossfade lol. They are excellent bands and yes they do sound similar. And no your not a sucker you just have good taste in music.

Most of the people over hear in England don't even know who the other bands are and are just familiar with Nickelback....their all missing out. Just because I love my metal they think it's all raaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa and screammmmmmmmmmmmmming
....when it's not all like that at all. Think these bands have an awesome style and there should be a few more of them.
