Former Agriculture Undersecretary Jocelyn "Joc-joc" Bolante will be at the senate today. He is to answer the Senate's inquiry on the fertilizer scam. But people are asking, was Bolante really the mastermind or was someone behind him? If we really come to think of it, is an undersecretary capable of distributing several millions of pesos that amounted to the fertiizer scam without prior consent of people on top of him? If that we a few thousands of pesos, I believe he can. But not hundreds of millions of pesos. It seems that Joc-joc Bolante is covering up for something, or someone, for that matter. But who? Some camps are trying to give the impression that Malacañang is not aware of these anomalous disbursement of government money, but I highly doubt that. As I have said, the president seat would not get in the way with a few thousands of pesos, but with hundreds of millions, oh boy, I sure think that this is also in their best interest. And it is most likely now that he is the fall guy of President Arroyo. Will the filipino people really benefit from this? will the real criminal really be incriminated? oh God have mercy on our country...
