I have never bought tickets online, but my sister had. She flew from Perlis to Kuala Lumpur and the ticket fare was only RM10 per person. Isn't it awesome? Yeah, if you are lucky you are able to get very cheap airplane tickets. What you have to do is to plan your trip as early as three months ahead, because cheap tickets are only applicable if you book three months in advance. My sister did just that. She booked the ticket for the whole family members. You can search under Air Asia, Fire Fly and also Malaysian Airlines. Now, Malaysian Airlines even offer you free tickets to fly. I am not sure how to get these tickets, I suggest you browse through the Malaysian Airlines website and see for yourselves. I only know that Air Asia gives out very cheap tickets but you have to book three months in advance.

I live in a country where there are many bucket travel agencies and low cost airlines. I often buy my tickets on the Internet, like I got train tickets for my trip to California. The price was excellent and gave me quite a discount. I booked my airline ticket to New Zealand with lots of lovely stopovers on the airline's we site. Leaving in November of that year I got a wonderful fare. If I go to see a travel agent I am limited to what they sell however if I look at the Internet I can book any flight that I like. Say I want to go from London to Cartagena a travel agent would give me a ticket London-Madrid-Bogota-Cartagena. If I bought my own tickets I would get a tickets London-Miami and Miami-Cartagena. This second leg of the journey would be on a budget airline that has its hub in an airport close to Miami.

We mostly book out tickets online for the convenience. Actually, as we were lining up to get on the plane for a flight back home last October, my friend chatted with this lady and she also said that booking through an agency is cheaper. I was alarmed, because it's our practice to book online. However, I think it really does switch up, sometimes it's cheaper online, and sometimes it's not. I had this experience though that after I was looking through flight schedules, I took a break and booked the flight an hour later, the prices actually came down!

i usually buy airline tickets on-line. They have a lot of promotions on-line,a s long as you plan your travel, so you would have to book the flight early. Agencies are more expensive because they have to add on something to it. not that on-line fares do not have add-ons, it's dependent on the airlines, some would have on-line booking charge and they just don't break it down to you like that. but it's very minimal. compared maybe to agencies. the good thing about agencies though is it gets cheaper if you travel in groups. airline promotions are most of the time limited to a number of people. :D

Same here, I haven't tried it yet. I heard it IS much cheaper than through travel agencies. I do wanna try it soon. Before I'd do it though, Id ask tips from friends who have done it already and probably get tickets from where they got also to be sure . Better to be safe than sorry, money was hard earned.

I have bought airline tickets online before and I have also bought a vacation package online before. It is easy to do. I guess you never know if you are getting the best deal there is. I have tried to buy broadway tickets online before ,but couldn't get them:( I do think that some sites will give you better deals, but you have to be careful and check around.

No, I don't buy online. I have a travel agent who arranged everything by just once call from me. Then they would send me the e-ticket copy by e-mail. I never tried buying by online because I am used to just asking my agent to do the job for me.

Yes;I have got tickets booked Online at times . I once got Air tickets booked. Another time;I had got Rail Tickets booked Online . They did charge some extra fare for Online Services . Still;the overall experience has been good . One saves the time and hassle of physically going to a booking centre or Counter to get the Tickets .
