Why is it that most funny things are stupid?

Have you ever realized how stupid every thing is that we laugh is? What is the human race coming too if the funniest thing to see is a monkey peeing into his own mouth? ....I know, bad example. But the hyperbole is reinforcing my point. How does all this get thought of? There seems to be so much of it today that the only logical conclusion is that stupid stuff just comes naturally to everyone. How can this be? Got any answers or more reinforcement?, feel free to share.

If you have seen Indian movies you will see that most comedians make funny acts by mimicking human disabilities which is sick humour. These people think by doing so they will get a bellyfull of laughs from the audience and they get it too. This is because it is in human nature to despise something which is not normal or make fun out of someones abnormality. It is really disgraceful and should not be encouraged. Unfortunately something like this draws the audience because most people are themselves in good health and it gives them a kick to see a disability being shown in a funny way.
