Depends on the subject area. I tutor in english on and off. But you could do is ask if there are teachers in his/her school that tutor for that subject matter. You could enter your child into an after school program. Some libraries offer homework help and such at certain times. Speaking of libraries some teachers and tutors leave their cards there to try and drum up potential students ever ask there? Check their boards you are bound to find a good tutor. Best of luck!
