Why do men lie when you first meet them. I met a guy at a club one night, who seemed like the perfect gentleman. We dance most of the night and he treated me like I was the love of his life. The night was wonderful I gave him my number. After a couple of dates of bringing me gifts every time we go out, he finally told me he was married. Was this fair to me, should that be part of the questioning since they act as if he was not. I am now ready to get on the internet and do a back ground check on every man I meet
