do you have scar on any part of your body? I have it on my lower cheek from the effect of shattered car's windscreen after I involved in a road accident 8 years ago. Beside that, I have another just beside the left eye from being hit by a wooden swing during my kid's time. Do you think scar will makes us look uglier? And if you have it, do you try to find a way on how makes it disappear?

I have scars from childhood not really visible anymore unless I am looking for them. Recently I had to have surgery on the cartoid artery on both sides of my neck. I now have two long scares one on each side of my neck and they are starting to fade but still very visible. They do not bother me and I have only had one person ask about them. I look at them as a good thing because my blockage was discovered in time to do something about it.

Lucky for you to have it on the back side and no one asking about it. Sometimes it's quite annoying if people keep on asking us about the scar that we have, especially new people that we've met.

I have a scar on the front of my right shin I tripped over a pole at a friends house that had a jagged edge around the top and it sliced my leg open I should have had stitiches but was to scared of getting them so I pulled the skin togheter and held it with lots of bandaids it left a scar.

Did it happened a long time ago? You should have it stitched as it looks quite serious. And the stich also help to quicken the healing process and to prevent any infection. By the way, I hope that the scar can be the mark so you will be extra careful next time

O yes, I do have a few hidden somewhere over my body. Am sure everybody have one and am sure there's some stories behind it. As a child I'm not a very girlish type who's always sitting being a nice good girl. I'm the more out door type of girls. During that time, what boys can do so can I.
I have scars on both my knees, they not really visible unless you really bend down and see them. I got them when a groups of us (both sexes) went `ghost hunting'. We were told that there was an abandoned ambulance and it's haunted. We ghost buster went there to investigate of course. We were chased by a couple of dogs for tresspassing. While running and not looking where I'm running, unaware that one of my friend was bending down to try to distract the dogs. I fell over him and both of us landed heavily on the gravel road. It was not a pleasant sight to see blood oozing out from the wounds but it was not very serious. I never bother about these scars as long as they not that obvious.

Hmm...sure you were the naughty type of kids sometimes agoUnlucky for you, instead of found a ghost you have been chased by dogs. But luckily you didn't get bitten by the dogs. Otherwise, the scar will become more serious.
