At the moment i am using Norton Antivirus- And it has worked for along time (apart from the occasional mess ups a get)- but really i'd recommend MacAfee Anti-virus. Seeing as most of my family and friends use it, and they have suffered no real problems. I suggest you keep it updated regularly though otherwise your computer may be open to new viruses.

i am using AVG8 and i am happy with that.. but the problem is that it fails to detect new varients of trojens evenif it is uadated regularly. theerefore i am using spybot search and destroy too.. it is a great tool to kill spywares and trojans.

the best antivirus so far for me is esetnod32 antivirus. it works well on my pcx. U can doenload free trial at www.eset.com.my. if u use free trial version u have to downoad anti malware and spyware too, because all here know that free trial version cannot elliminate all te virus.

I will give you a list. Free: Avast Home, AVG, Avira Antivir. Paid: Avast Pro, Norton (IF you own a powerful computer), and ESET NOD32 (This is the best antivirus I have worked with to date. I run it on my Vista Boot Camp install of Vista on my MacBook Pro). Any of these should keep you pretty safe as long as you don't do anything that is, a-hem, stupid; and as long as you keep them up to date and running.

I like Kaspersky. I'm using the Internet version, which includes antivirus and a firewall, and it's the best antivirus I've ever used. It doesn't hog resources (which is good because I'm a gamer), has a slick, clean interface, gives you a lot of control, and updates very frequently (I think every hour or so.) I haven't had to use it yet (thank God) but if I have to I know it will perform.
