yes friend you read right.many of you know in the last test of his career,when australia's 9th wicket fell down.indian captain M.S.dhoni went to former indian captain saurav ganguly and talked to him and said him to captain indian team again.it must be one of the greatest moment of saurav ganguly's life.he took charge from dhoni and he was back as he were in the past.he made change in fielding and captained indian team for the last time in his career till the last wicket fell.it was honour for greatest captain of indian cricket history and dhoni made him proud.

Hats off to Dhoni for this act of courtesy and honor shown by him to the most successful captain of Indian cricket. This definitely is a great moment for Saurav Ganguly, to spend the last few moments as an Indian cricketer on the field as a captain of the side. I feel this act of Dhoni clearly suggests that the senior cricketers who served the country for so long deserve this kind of respect.

I was a great gesture from present Indian captain MS Dhoni to ask Saurav Ganguly to take charge of the team which he lead successfully in the past. It was an an acknowledgment for the former captain that he was one of the best captain India ever had. I appreciate Dhoni for this and wish Ganguly a great future.

As a captain,no one can forget his contribution to the Indian cricket.Dhoni has done a good thing by giving Ganguly captaincy in the last over.No one can forget that moment.

Yes , I had heard it from the news channels. It was a great gesture from Dhoni. In fact even when Kumble retired from the last test Dhoni carried him off the ground on his shoulders. It really gives a great picture of Dhoni as a Captain and a great human being who respects his seniors and giving them a perfect farewell.

I think this is the right choice to honor the former captains, when they are still playing in the team..... I think Dhoni made the right choice....

Yes ur right dear. Ganguly has ended his carrer with captaincy. Yes dhoni has made india & gmaguly proud. Thanks dhoni for ur effort & ur presence of mind

well, interesting. i haven't heard about it till now. he deserves to be give that respect. he is one of the greatest captain that India has ever had. good thing done by dhoni.
