I sat on the beach and noticed the sand caressing my toes, the feeling was very nice. A gull soared above me, I gazed up and had to close my eyes due to the brightness of the sun. This was beautiful! This is one day where I felt I could finally relax, so I chose the beach! My mind began to relax and then the recollections followed! Life! Memories! Pain! I closed my eyes, I entered the land of nod!! Ok My Lotters! I thought I would try this. What do you think and can you use your imagination to add to this? Good luck. Andrew

Hi there, there's definitely a writer within you! Have a look at my profile page and check out some of my own writings. Also, there are some good writing companies listed there like Associated Content, Helium and Triond. They are free to join and you start receiving performance payments for articles that you have published. Give it a try, you have nothing to lose. Good luck. Andrew

Okay, I got it. Hmmmn.. Let me get to the story. Wait, can I use first person?
So I was relaxing on the beach, with the sand caressing my toes. Then a seagull soared above me. I looked up but was blinded by the bright sun so I closed my eyes.
When I opened my eyes. I noticed the sun was getting bigger and its color glowing to a bright red. I was startled. I gazed at the horizon. The sea was beginning to appear black. I stood abruptly and turned about. I broke into a sprint towards the mountainside and saw a cave. I entered hesitantly, but I looked back and saw the sun and the sea tangled in a wide outburst. And the waves were coming after me! I panicked. I entered the dark cave, stood with my back against the cave walls and close my eyes again.
For the second time, I opened them and saw colorful fireflies flickering their tiny lights about my face. The darkness was gone. I scanned the area and noticed I was in a totally different world!
Aha! I was once again encapsulated in my widest imaginations. Will somebody finish it for me? LOL

Hi, that's great, you have quite an imagination. As you can imagine, I'm trying to test my creative writing ability. I'm still working on this. Well, I thought this would be a great way to see how others respond. Andrew

I could hear the gentle waves as they reached the shore, the wonderful embracing smell of the ocean hit my nostrils and I felt a sense of total calm, peace had totally descended on me like a blanket, there was no one else on the beach just me, it was a unspoken relationship between myself and the beach, it didn't care who or what I was, the fact that I was laying there with no intentions, just happy to be alone, to be at one with nature and all that she has provided us, where time can stand still, and there are no demands, I could sit there for one minute, five, a hour a day and the sand and sea will still be there inviting and ready to encompass me in whatever dreamlike state I want to embrace.
The sand is warm like a mother's womb it's safe, I feel safe and that is the most important and most satisfying feeling I can have, safety, peace and no one to disturb me, it's like the sand and sea and the beautiful blue cloudless sky knew. No one could disturb my contemplation, my sanctuary, my haven, my escape, and to end the perfect day to sit and watch the beautiful sun sink deeper, deeper and finally disappear as if the hungry sea had eaten it whole. Leaving behind a sun streaked reddened sky as I whisper goodbye to my unspoken friends to leave the Beach.

Hi wolfie, that's nice, very creative. This is getting really interesting! My enthusiasm for writing is slowly starting to build as everyone contributes to this discussion. The beach is a very nice setting and I guess you can create all kinds of different scenarios. Anyway, thanks for your piece of creative writing. Andrew

Yes, I suppose a friend or two would be nice. Going with the flow I guess. Andrew
