currently I've been looking for a new computer that suites me as a multimedia student.. my budget is not very high so I just want to have a normal pc that will works well for me..
Next semester I'll learn 3dmax studio and also dreamweaver.. so I hope to find a nice pc that suites me and can handle those software.

I'm a multimedia student too. It's important that your computer has a lot of RAM, wich is memory. Because you have to work with lots of different programs which use a lot of memory that one is required.
I use Dreamweaver, Flash, Photoshop, Illustrator etc and I have 3 GB as ram. Works great!

Hey trial3d!
Well i'm a student too and i know i thing or two about computers.
First of all, you need a desktop computer or a laptop?
In either case, all you need is a Core Duo CPU and a couple of RAM,which in many cases :the more the better. But i'm estimating 1GB as standard.
You don't have to worry very much about the budget, because you're in luck.
These days computers are getting cheaper and cheaper because new technology is being researched and new products are being launched to the market.
You won't have troubles looking for a simple, suitable and convenient computer to do your tasks and that doesn't cost much.
Hope everything works out for you.
