Well most towns and cities have ordinances against this, so you can always call your local police dept and ask. And some departments don't require you to catch them in the act, you can just tell the officer what's going on and they'll go have a word with the owner. Call enough times and they'll give the owner a pretty piece of paper called a ticket. If you are in a position where you can actually catch these dogs in the act, you can spray them with a hard stream of water from your garden hose. It might take a few days, but eventually you'll train them to stay out of your yard. There are a few more options. They make a spray that you can use to keep them from going in that area. Unfortunately it's not cheap and I don't know how big of an area one can will cover - just guessing, I'd have to say not very big. And that would only stop them from that one area, they would probably move to another place in your yard. You could lay down some chicken wire around the perimeter of your yard, that should definitely keep them out but if you have dog(s) as well, you could end up injuring your own dog. Basically what it comes down to is the owner is permitting his dogs to run at large - the fact that they need to 'go' is irrelevant - and the police department should take care of it.

Yes, dogs do need to poo, but it is the responsibility of the owner to pick it up. In lots of areas, there are laws against not picking up after your dog. Check and see if there's a similar law in your area. If there is such a law, kindly remind your neighbor to pick up after his dogs and be sure to inform him that it's the law. You may also want to tell him what types of fines and punishments there are for not picking up after your dog. If he continues to not pick up after his dog, file a complaint with the homeowners association.

Hmmm... I would probably get a bag, put some of the dogs poop in it and then stick it in their mailbox with a note attached, that says...you don't like poop in your mailbox, and I don't like poop in my yard, so handle your dogs. I would also check your state or counties law on dogs, many have leash laws, and that includes them being on their property. I would let your neighbor know that if it continues you will have to contact the local animal authority about the situation, and how the dogs keep coming into your yard. Good luck, and hope I was helpful.

It's just so inconsiderate of him.. at least he should have leashed his dogs asnot to bother the neighborhood. I gues you need to talk to authorities regarding the matter since the owner won't take his part.
