Another country in recession

This news just came in a few minutes ago.. Germany has declared that they are in recession. Are you in a country that has declared that it's in recession right now? Or are you in a country where you think there is a recession but your government doesn't want to admit? Tell me where you're from and talk about your country's economic situation.

I am in the UK and we are going into recession although our Prime Minister says that he will not announce that we are in a recession until next year.
The unemployment has shot up in the last few months.
And there is a lot of companies announcing job loses every day.
Also the banks have been hit as well as they have had to have the government or other banks bail them out.
I think that the whole world is suffering at the moment.
