Do you still carry with you a dictionary?

I don't actually bring it with me all the time but i do take note of words that i encounter which i am not so familiar of, so when i get home i try and find their meanings.

Hm... a strange one that is! I don't bring a dictionary anywhere I go, heck, I rarely use a dictionary! When there is a word that I don't understand, I just use context clues, which is, if you don't know, the way of understanding a certain word you cannot understand by looking at the words neighboring it. But I do know a person- also a student- who always brings an electronic dictionary anywhere she goes. I am already used to see her using it on the strangest possible places...

No, I have never gotten into the habit of carting a dictionary around, even though I'm a reader. I don't see any kind of practical reason for it. Furthermore, if I need a definition, the internet is a quick place to visit. There are many online dictionaries available to help you out. You should tell your friend to take advantage of such..and stop carting a dictionary that will give him back aches..LOL

I do carry a big bag pack with me too, but it's not GOLd BARS nor my webby in it.. It's just my sports attire, and my running shoes.. lol =D IN this time and day, it's hard and rare to see ple still carrying their dictionary around.. haha ^_^ NOW the laptops and computers, along with the internet, everything can be found easily, so who will actually need a dictionary?? hehe ^_^ Unless, he's really someone who is always eager and keen for knowledge, that's why he always carries it?? haha
