I can not resist myself when I get on ebay now. Before I would just get on and look, now i always find at least one thing to bet on. It is like so exciting when you actually win lol. I am doing a lot of christmas shopping on there, but I am about done with my christmas shopping, other then stuff for my fiance. I have a layaway at kmart, and I have a few things on ebay right now. But you really can't beat some of the things that you find on there. Compared to the price in the store, and how much they are asking.
What are your thoughts on ebay? Do you use it a lot or just to look?

When I first discovered ebay I was sooo addicted that my bank put a hold on my credit card!!! I hadn't realized it and got a phone call from the bank saying there has bin an unusual amount of activity on your account. I laughed and said let me guess - paypal! He said yes. Again I laughed and said "wellll I discovered ebay last week. At that point HE laughed and said OH I remember when my wife discoverd it! We laughed and he took the hold off my account!
After that I slowed down and now hardly do any shopping on there. But when I do I LOVE to win!!!

I used to really be hooked on ebay ask my credit cards I maxed them out by using ebay now I use ebay just once in awhile I do still browse but I can pass up the bidding now which used to be alot of fun just bidding to see if you won! There are some things I can buy on ebay that are not sold around where I live so I still order that stuff.

I've bought from Ebay before and it's becoming more and more of a habit for me to go to Ebay and look to see what things I can find. I've only bought one thing on Ebay lately so it's not like I'm constantly buying or anything but I'm definitely enjoying being on Ebay more and more.
I'm mostly looking now, comparing prices of items to see if it would be worth buying stuff from some people on their or not.

I am also an ebay addict. I love looking and then eventually bidding and buying from there.
When I arrive home everyday, I am always looking forward to see my mailbox or my door if there is something there. And I feel bad if I dont see anything.
I love the cheap items that I get from there plus the excitement of bidding especially if i am winning .

I like ebay too but its because I get to sell my stuffs there. I just started becoming active with ebay and I have already sold 4 items. Its really helpful because I get to convert things that I don't use to cash and other people get to buy the things they need or want at a much lesser price than the ones in the store. I am looking forward to selling more stuffs there and also buying some stuffs when I have the budget.

Ebay is very addicting. So far, I have been able to restrain myself. However, Christmas is coming and I know I will be tempted to look for things there. Especially, if it means not going to a store.

I was just saying in another discussion that ebay seems quiet at the minute so I have been winning mostly everything I have been bidding on. Last year I got all the doctor who figures off ebay for a fraction of the cost of them in the shops. A lot of them had sold out in the shops too so my boys were really chuft that they were getting rare figures. For some things you cannot beat ebay, even though I do not agree with how they run their business they still have a fantastic amount of bargains on there.

I'm not so much of an e-bay addict, but my mother is. She gets things EVERY DAY from the UPS or FedEx guy. Every day he asks me what my mother bought on e-bay. The truth is, I don't even know what she buys! She's a makeup and shoe addict. I myself also like e-bay for things I can't normally find in stores. I also love it around the holiday season because it is so much easier than going to the mall or huge department stores. It is also very exciting to get mail! I LOVE getting mail!
Careful not to max out credit cards!!

Have you ever considered selling things on ebay. I have never bought anything from that site but lately I have been thinking that I might sell some of my old stuff on ebay just to earn a little extra cash for the holidays, but I don't know how. Have any tips?

I understand completely! I buy and sell on ebay and I don't think that I am making anywhere near a profit. I am basically self supporting my habit. LOL!! There are so many things on there and I don't shop much outside of the home due to so many other obligations,so I like ebay. I plan to do some shopping on there too. I guess we will see how many of us are "junkies" now.

The thing with ebay is yes there are deals but sometimes people will jack the price way up . Now i just have a low bid and if i get out bidded that is it for me . I sometimes sell too , and with that money buy , but lately i have been saving that for xmas .

Hey, there's nothing wrong with being an Ebay junkie! The thing about Ebay is, people just love to bid and they tend to bid on anything and everything just for the sake of becoming the winning bidder! I love having a look around on Ebay myself and if I see something I like I tend to place my bid! I love ebay and it's only recently that I became a seller. I don't own a business or anything like that. I just sell my private books and so forth. I think that there is a real pleasure that you get though from shopping on ebay. I like that fact that you have a rating system. It's good to see your points gradually increasing. It's also nice to receive positive feedback from other Ebayers letting you know that you've done a good job. Good luck with your own Ebay activities. Andrew

You're title is hilarious! I love ebay! I try to stick with the buy-it-now because I get too involved in the auctions. It's like a freakin' game to me! LOL I have a blast with it though. I do a lot of shopping and find a lot of good buys on it. I have my paypal account and whatever my balance is in it...that's what I can spend. Which is usually not too much! LOL I don't use a credit card or I would be in the poor house! LOL
HAve fun and have a great day!

I seldom use ebay. Usually I only lay my eyes on the site only when I want to make some survey on prices. There is not much stuff available on ebay in my region. So it is better to buy straight from the shop then pay for the high cost post from the US or UK.
