Today is my Birthday!

Well here we are again another year has passed and today I am 45 years old. I think of the many things I have accomplished in my life and how many more things I would like to accomplish in the years to come. This am I woke to a box of chocolates and my favorite candle sitting on my kitchen table with a couple of cards. My youngest son so excited for me to get up and open them. Today is my day and hubby has promised that he will be making me a special dinner tonight. I can not wait to see what he is planning. We are unable to go out due to my back injury but I am sure he will make it special. I so much enjoy things from the heart more than just going out and buying expensive gifts. Then tomorrow morning I will wake up looking forward to next year for that day to come and go lol
What was the best present you have ever gotten for your birthday?

HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRAMMASNOOK!
Well the best present I've ever gotten was this bloody halloween goblet set since my younger brother knows I totally dig that stuff, and a 5 dollar bill covered in sticky notes. Saying, "ptting this in a card is what anyone else can do. But covering it in sticky notes shows you it's the thought that counts... Happy Birthday." I laughed about that and that was for my 15th birthday. But the card for my last birthday was funnier, since he gave me a happy 90th birthday card but with some cash in it. My mother thought I'd get mad, but I was laughing at it since it was meant for people over the hill. :P

Thank you much for the wishes and I really enjoyed your stories they made me chuckle. My grandmother always remember my birthday as she got older her memory seemed to get older.. On my 34 th birthday she sent me a christmas card lol .. I think that was one of the best that I ever got she knew it was my birthday but didnt realize what the card said haha

First of all Happy birthday and mamy many happy returns of the day.Talking about presents at birthdays,the best one which I have got in my bithday was a Nakia N-73 mobile phone given by my uncle.

Happy Birthday my dear friend!!! I hope your day will be a good one. Hubby making you a dinner WOW honey he's a keeper!!! Or does this mean he's taking you out??? Regardless best wishes for your B'day, mine is only about three weeks away.

Happy Birthday! I wish I could say what my best present was that I've gotten for my birthday but Ir eally can't remember. It's been a long while. Ever since I got old enough my parents would just give us money. And my husband and I try not to give each other gifts. Because we buy enough stuff throughout the year.
But when we do have children I too am looking forward to seeing the gifts from the heart and what kind of creative ideas they can come up with.

well i think birthdays are one of the days that one is looking forward to. now that you have cerebrated yours, i can only wish you joy together with your family. But remember to do something special for the next year and i think that you should sit down and reflect on what you have acheived in this year and set goals for the next year. once again, HAPPY BIRTHDAY.
