PC desktop or laptop?

When I am at home, I prefer to use the desktop. It is more powerful, faster and and have bigger screens. Therefore, it is more comfortable for me to use that at home compared to the laptop. Unfortunately, my desktop kaputted last year and now I am using two laptop instead of one desktop and one laptop... However, when I am out of the house, definitely I could not carry my desktop PC around with me and I have to rely on my Laptop and furthermore, it allows me to get connected to the internet almost everywhere I go. So, I like them both but if I really have to choose one, I would then choose the laptop as it can be used both in and out of the house. Even though they are smaller and more expensive, the mobility is the key to my choice as I do spend quite a considerable time out of the house and office. Cheers!

we use laptop here at home...it doesnt use much electricity unlike desktop computers...

I like the stability and durability of a desktop - but I love the portability of a laptop - so we have both!

Obeviously Laptop is more preferable.I like Laptop than Desktop P.C .I have a Laptop but I want one more.

I'll go with desktop. Because it is easier to customize specially the videocard. With applications being more graphic hungry, an upgrade is necessary. With desktop, I have the freedom to put anything that I want. Laptop's expansion is very limited.

I have both laptop and desktop computer,but i always use desktop computer while browsing.It is more convenient to use than a laptop.

They are all the same to me. I have cpu not a lap top. I agree a laptop is more portable. Bit when you port it you always have to worry about someone stealing it here. If your not paying attention. :)

My parents gave me the choice of a laptop or desktop and I chose the former. I don't regret it. I'm the type of person that likes being able to have the option to work on the move. I take my laptop to my friends house when we have projects, travel with it, and use it at home as well. As long as it has good specs, I'd choose a laptop over a desktop.

Desktop. They are cheaper and you can get better hardware for less money compared to a laptop. Well, I am typing this on a laptop but only because I didn't want to take my desktop PC with me to this place. And there are a lot of great looking desktop computers just like laptops. So yeah, there is basically only one reason to get a laptop. And its if you have to take your work with you or if you need to do some other things that can only be done on a laptop.

I prefer Laptop for my personal use.As you said it's mobile.It's very cute.And it gives us freedom for working anywhere.A laptop may give rise to new ideas and thoughts because it always with us.You can share it any idea when it comes.A laptop is the technology which travel with you.Think with you.Sleep with you..

I love using my laptop. I have a Macbook and I love it. I hate desktops because there too big.
