Steak and BJ Day.. The male alternative to Valentines Day!!!

So Here I am sitting at home talking to a friend on the phone and he was talking about how he was taking his daughter to Disney on ice and just rattling about nothing inspecific and the upcoming holidays and he said you know about Steak and BJ day!
I admit I was totally lost Steak and BJ day I repeate sounding a bit like huh? So he goes on to tell me that it's the male alternative to Valentines Day and that they get to eat where they want and then I think it's self explanatory LOL!!
As I'm listening to him tell me about this day I look at the phone as if he is truly gone nutters. At the end of the explaination I tell I don't believe a dang thing that he has said.. He goes fine look it up online you'll see it.
So being the skeptic I am I have googled it and will provide with the link.
I hope you all have a giggle out of this as I did.. Because I counter back that valentines was just as much for the male as the female and that it has become to commercialized. LOL!!!

as for yer discussion.. yes, generally valentine`s day is for the female of the couple. ive never heard of a guy getting all giddy over the roses & chocolate holiday the way a woman does. i have heard of steak & bj day.. altho, as of yet, my husband isnt aware of its existance.. and im keeping shooshed about it soes to be able to continue NOT observing it LOL

My great fear here Bella is that there might be some confusion. Biting down on a nice piece of "blue' meat may be some people's idea of heaven, but that depends upon whose meat it is that had been bitten down on! Speaking personally, give me the steak. The other is fun but doesn't make my day necessarily.

You know I never thought about it that way .. Hmmm... Interesting thought.. I doubt alot of people would be happy to have the meat bitten down on though.

If I see a card for this I might not make it out of the store without medical help because I can only imagine what kind of cards they would come up with for this holiday. LOL!!! I think I will have busted a rib laughing if I found a card for this holiday!

Well, I think that some men do have to deal with women who feel entitled to being pampered and they have to tolerate demands and complaints around the clock but I think that I wouldn't be that type. I think that if someone pays attention to me, I'd make every day Steak and BJ day, as long as I get pampered too. We would probably have to not have kids if we decide to pamper each other that much!
