I have windows vista and real player stopped playing all audio files. I would be okay and just use windows media but i have RM files that can't be played unless real player works.
I downloaded the update thinking perhaps that would fix it and no it doesnt. An added nucence is this "Download This Video" button that hovers over every page (near the top) even if there is no video.
I went to the settings in real player and set it so that the button wouldn't show up... it's ignoring me...
Any idea what's going on... help??

Hey,
I honestly have no idea what the problem is, but honestly I think that it is Windows Vista's fault that this happened to you. Just wait until Windows 7 comes out.

It seems to only be a windows vista issue since at my parent's home they updated and everything works fine.. so im seriously confused. I have no intention of upgrading to windows 7 unless i buy a new computer or something lol...

My brother warmed me of vista. My player is not working either. I spilt water on my laptop last week and it has erratic sticky keys. I thought maybe it was because of this. (probably is) My hubby usually sorts all this out for me, so I will get him to check this further. I will let you know tomorrow. He is good at this.
