Trust nobody at the office when you're at work

Its very disappointing to know that after all these years that you have been working with your colleagues, there is still this question that is always left unanswered. Do you trust the people you work with? Do your office-mates think that you are trustworthy? Funny isnt it.... well i have been working for the same company for 15 years now and i know just about everything and just about everyone. Its kinda annoying knowing that people say something nasty behind your back just for the sake that they think it would make them better than you. Sometimes even the most closest person to you is doing it.... i mean...no matter how good you are when you treat them... how funny you are when you play jokes on them... its so ironic that people are hard to trust specially within your working environment. In my case... i do have a couple of staff here...oh by the way I forgot to tell you guys... I work as a manger at the office and i sure do have a lot of staff. through the years i ahve learned a lot of things. One... no matter how many times you recommend your staff for an increase...it seems that they dont get enough and still they say something behind your back... two... even after you have increased their salary...their performance never improved...well maybe... on the first few weeks only...hehehe. anyways... im just sharing my sentiments...
