Licking The Bowl / myLot

Hello there my fellow mylotters, I just wanted to know if anyone out there enjoyed licking the bowl that you yourself or someone else just finished mixing cake batter in. I loved when my mother made cakes, because I knew when she was done mixing the batter that she would hand me the bowl and spoon to lick. Maybe that's why im big now. hahaha. But if you ever experienced the joy in licking cake batter bowls please discuss.

my grandmother use to let us do that all the time. what fun! i let my kids do it to if they wanted to.

Hi mikyoo! I still love to lick the batter when I'm making a cake! I always lick the batter! My mom always let me when I was a kid. I would watch her mix up the batter and wait until it was my turn for the bowl! Now when I mix the batter I always give myself the bowl! I remember one time one of my girlfriends and I were teenagers and we mixed up some cake batter and we split it and we had no intention of baking a cake! We just wanted to eat the batter and we did! It was yummy! We ate the whole thing and never thought about making any cake!
