Will you like to pay by instalment?

I don't like paying by instalment. I like to pay for what I buy right away. As I have to pay extra interest for the instalment payment method. If I can't afford it, I will wait and then buy it when it's cheaper.

Hi youless ,Yes I too do not like to buy things on installments, because firstly you end up buying more expensive things, and secondly, you have to shell out more money to pay the interest too.......

Right now I don't have money to pay either way, but it is always best to pay up front and save money on interest and things like you say. Marsha

If I am going to buy something expensive which I don't have enough money and I need it immediately yes I would buy by monthly installments. For example I have bought a car by paying monthly installments. However if it a small amount I make sure that I save for it before.

I don't like this way too,and I also like to pay for right away, because when I pay instalment,I may forget it,then they will give me a punishment. However,we have to pay instalment when we buy a house, because we don't have so much money, but we love house, what do you think?

House is different. It's very expensive. So sometimes paying it by instalment is the only one choice.

it all depends on what you are buying and how much money you have on you right now!! i will save on inflation rather than save on interest!! imagine buying property . we needs finance and the interest factor will always be less that the increased value of property!! it may not be true while buying tv or fridge or computer!!

it will depend on what kind thing that we gonna buy. if its just kind of electronic product or basic daily product then i prefer to buy it in cash. but for some stuff as like buying a house, there is no option if we don't have much cash except to buy it with instalment program

hi youless! well, it depends on the item. there are big items that i would rather pay on installment. however, i only do that if i have money on hand to pay for it. not to wait for money to come in order to pay. i don't like the idea of still earning the money to pay for what i got. hehe take care and God bless you!

You are right. Besides, you have to pay extra if you decide to pay it by installment payment.

That is a very good practice, that way, you won't have any obligation to worry about in the future. I wish I had that discipline. It would have kept me from being in debt right now. Though there are installment schemes with no interest, it still is hard when I run out of budget. I don't know whether to pay my installment obligation first or to make budget for the house.

i like paying in cash rather than paying in installment. installment has interests while paying in cash is cheaper. if you pay in cash instead of paying for interest you can you your money in buying other stuff.

Same here, i dont like paying by installment. I dont like having the thought of owing someone money. Its like you are just proloning your agony. I think if you can pay it all immediately it would really be better. I really bothers me if i still owe some people something. I think if i cant afford something i would try to save more and just buy it if i could afford it. I dont like buying things more that what i can afford. I think this is where most people make their usual mistakes. I think we should not always push our budgets to the limits, it would be best to give some allowance in case we might be needing something for emergency because it is really hard to tell when we might need something to pay for.

I don't think it's a cheating. You have to pay the extra interest since you are unable to pay for it at once.

It really depends on what the item is. If is a non-necessity, I am like you. But if it is a necessity, I will seek out the best deal on the Installment. This is to ensure that I will may minimum interest for the item in hand. Important if you are on a tight budget and need the item urgently.

No I don't like paying by installment. I usually pay at one-go or I would wait till I get enough money. I don't like the feeling that the things are not owned by me and I have to pay every month. I like paying it all at one time in the first place.

i think it is up to you when you decide to pay by installment or not. If you need something very much but cannot afford it, then you can consider paying by installment and you can get it early. But if the thing you need is not so urgent, you can wait till the price is cutting down. Although you could get and use it late.

I like to pay for things all at once that way I don't have to worry about making payments I will be done with it. I guess it helps to buy more expensive things but I tend to stay away from something if it is too pricy anyways.

me too. I don't like paying by instalment.I like simple things.instalment is too complex for me. I by things directly ,if my money is not enough ,I will borrow some and pay my bill right away.

I had much rather pay all at once but there are some things (car, house) that you have to make payments on if your going to have them.
