How do you organize your time and day for your "things to do"?

Phew... 
I've just arrived a few moments ago. I went to the local market, bought some vegetables and collected rent. After that I went to the bank to do business there. I stopped by at a drugstore near the bank and bought vitamins for my pets. I also bought some bread at a nearby bakery. My last stop was at a bookstore cause I needed to buy a pencil and sharpener and before going home I had to stop for a while and think, what else must I have to do?
I'm always like that. If I have to go to stores or somewhere and do this and that, I try to do everything in one day. Sometimes I make schedules which should I do first. I organize it while still at home so when I am there I don't forget anything and would have to come back for it. Sometimes its a bother going out again and having to dress up again. I also like to do my errands in the mornings cause its not yet that sunny if I have to walk from one store to another.
What about you? Do you also make schedules for things to do or if you have to go somewhere? If you have to do some errands, when do you prefer to do it, in the mornings, after work or every weekends?

I use a paper two year planner and right things down whenever i think of them.Everyday i look at it and mark to do's off as i go.Im so absent minded i'd be lost without it.And sometimes i do lose it! I have tryed using the computer calendars or cell phone but i always go back to my trusty sloppy day planner.
