I JUST came across this quote about 5 minutes ago. I want to know what you think about it .....
"Here, then, is the real problem of our negligence. We fail in our duty to study God's Word, not so much because it is difficult to understand, not so much because it is dull and boring, but because it is work. Our problem is not lack of intelligence or lack of passion. Our problem is that we are lazy." - R. C. Sproul

I think it's very true, depending on the person. Well, the good thing is, that to study God's Word you don't always have to sit and read chapters and chapters. You can read a passage, meditate on it, and pray to God, asking Him to show us how we can apply it to our lives. I guess for a lot of people it can also be the lack of laziness. Some people are so busy busy busy with worldly things that they feel like they can't spare the time to have quiet time with God and study His word. I sadly, am one of those people.

I agree ... Some people are just too busy!
When I saw that last night I had a sense of conviction come over me then I really thought about it and realized sometimes I am too lazy to read! lol ... I like doing things online so I do my devotionals and all that then!
