Don't You Just Love it When Professors Remove Notes from BlackBoard?

Apparently, our professor ran out of room on his BlackBoard website and had to remove some notes. Instead of just removing notes of things we've already been tested on, he removed all the notes up until a couple days ago. I wanted to look at the notes again to review for a quiz tomorrow, and I noticed that they're gone now. So even though I want to study, I can't. I normally take excellent notes, but since they're online I figured I wouldn't bother for this class. Argh!
Ever had this happen to you? And unfortunately for me, I am not even doing well in this class to begin with so I can't afford to do badly on this quiz since it's worth a lot of points.

Perhaps you could ask if a student has the notes printed or saved somewhere next time because you can send messages through blackboard. I suggest also printing any submitted assignments confirmation page as well. Or posts you made saved on your hard disk. Because sometimes they DO lose stuff that you post or assignments. Happened to me so i was real happy i used to print each post as i posted it on blackboard or i would have so failed the class. I mailed the stack which was time stamped by both the server AND my printer to the professor.

I don't print things out, but I do save confirmation pages by "printing" to file.
We don't make posts or turn in assignments through BlackBoard though. Generally just notes are up there and sometimes video lectures and stuff like that. I've rarely had an instructor use the message board function in my 6 years at college.

I would suggest next time printing out the notes from online so that way you have the notes with you. Or email the professor and ask him for help and if he could put the notes back for the past couple days so you can review what you had written down with what he had. Make it seem like you had things written down. Professors are always willing to help students get better grades, you just need to talk to them. Thats how I improved my grades in a few classes.

I don't waste paper printing the notes (especially since there were well over 200 pages of notes total online), but I will definitely save them from now on. I don't know why I didn't save them. I have 900GB free space, it's not like I didn't have room.
That's smart about making it seem like I had notes written down, good thinking. I will do that to try to get the other note series for the stuff we'll be tested on next.
