I live in the Eastern Cape South Africa.
We experienced a very dry winter, yet not a very cold one.
The funny thing is that its already November and the cold weather should have seized
by now. It is one of the longest winters I can remember. We do have the occasional
warmer day in between. It is quite obvious that the weather patterns are changing.
We are all aware of global warming. Surely its effects cannot be so rapid!
Looking back to about 2002, its very evident that its getting warmer every year though.

Yes weather patterns are changing. They have always changed! Look at the past and you will see temperature variations have happened over millions of years before and will in the future. Here in UK our winters are warmer qand wetter, our summers milder and wetter. It makes UK almost nice place to live! We hardly ever have snow in winter, but we had our first snow in October for 70 years this year! But it is now 15 degrees and normally this time of year is 8 degrees so we are a lot warmer than usual.
I like it warmer, but change is hard for many people. Who knows where it will end, or even whether it would have happened anyway.
