will desktop pcs will be used in future anymore

nowadays everybody wants a laptop,and why not it is easy to handle,stylish,portable and is full of cool features and best of all now these days they are available at very cheap rates. so one question arises from it is that:WILL PEAOPLE MAY STOP PREFFERING AND BUYING DESKTOP PCS IN NEAR FUTURE AND EVEN IF THAY WON'T THEN WHY WILL THEY PREFER DESKTOP PCS OVER STYLISH LAPTOPS. so i want to ask you all what's your thinking on this subject and what will happen to desktops in future.

I think desktop pcs will stick around. It is much easier to spread out than being cramped on a laptop. Ergonomically a PC monitor at eye level is much better for you than constantly bending your neck down to look at the laptop screen.

I agree with you Craisy.I also think that desktop will be around for long time, and also the keyborad on the laptop i don't most people are comfortable with that, yes some are but most are not. I think most people would consider having both laptop and desktop, and laptops will be useful when they are on the move and desktop can always be comfortable when you are at home Also lot of business will still consider desktop's for their busienesses for some server files hosting reasons

well i think that no matter what happens computer are going to stay in the market. well laptops are popular but then the size does have some advantage and specially when there are requirements for powerful computers like for good gaming, high end applications and many such things then it is the desktop computers which make the day.
