NBC has pulled the plug on the Christian Slater spy drama MY OWN WORST ENEMY. Production has stopped on the series, which just completed its 9th episode. The series had originally been picked up for 13 episodes, but it's unlikely that will be fulfilled. NBC hasn't indicated what would fill its Monday 10pm timeslot.
(Hey, how about a test pattern?). Enemy debuted well for NBC but in recent weeks, the show has seen a sharp decline in ratings and in key demographics. The series has
been nominated for a People's Choice Award for Best New Series. Evidently, NBC wants to stay in last place. I thought the show was really good. What did you think? Did you like it?

I really enjoyed the show. While I'm not a fan of the spy genre, I was hooked from the first episode. I'm sorry to see it end. Why don't they give the show another chance. There have been other shows that had low ratings in the beginning but ended up being blockbuster hits. Maybe the ratings are low due to competition from Monday Night Footbal.

Networks are notorious for not giving shows a decent chance to build an audience.
