so people park in handcappe parking without any thought this space is used for the less fortune ones.if they have a family member parking sticker they will used it knowing full well they are not handicappe.do you think the public should report such behavior because the police can,t be every where when this happens.

i actually parked in one last night, for one second i thought, maybe no as i closed the door, then i thought about the probobal 30 minute inconveneience it would have cause me. Then i went in the store and was out in 3 minutes and had to go another place, close, 45 seconds walking, but i couldnt see my car to see if police were close, so i moved it, to where? a 15 minute walk away, paid 30 cents for 15 minutes, and did i mention it took me 20 minutes to find a spot in the first place. Get over it. Im going to use handicaped more.

You can report them but it normally won't do u any good unless they come right out because more than likely time the police get there the people will be gone. To bad places that have handicap spots can't write their own tickets and the police department back them. I mean malls in cali have mall security that can do it. I don't know if the mall here in greenwood has that. You can report it if it makes you feel better but doubt it will do any good and yes it is very tacky of people to do this..... karma is a mother so ummmm they'll get theirs

here we can write a ticket on just a piece of paper and they tag number and they will be fined a 1000.00 dollars.so let them think the judge is playing if they want he is not many have been hit with large fines for parking in handicappe spaces this is a form of abuse to the handicappe if they was in a wheel chair they would want to have a handicappe place for them to park.i guess people like that will have to learn the hard way.

I think it is disgusting, but sometimes people don't look handicapped but they really are. Like me, I have a bad back I can not walk far but I don;t use a cane or anything like that.

Oh boy did you hit a sore nerve with me today. I had a doctors appointment in the city today and my appointment was at 10:20 am I was there by 10 am as I'd prefer to be early I hate being late for anything. Well I drove around the block several times waiting for a parking spot to open up. I noticed a half ton truck in the handicapped parking spot. It was a work truck like a courier delivery truck. It would have been bad enough that this young fellow took up a handicapped parking spot but he was taking up both spots. There's only two spots to begin with. Finally I parked in a spot that said Doctor Parking Only I then got out of my van walked up to the truck and yes there's a phone number of the bussiness. I then got on my cell phone and I called the company repeatidly and the number was constantly busy. I had no choice but to wait in my van till this young fellow I'd say about mid twenties comes out of the clinic. He had papers in his hand so I knew very well he was the one. I again got out of the van and I walked up to his truck as he was getting in. This is what I said, "Excuse me but not only did you take up the only two spots but you're parked in a handicapped zone.' I'm not going to tell you wht he said but you can figure it out. Too f----- bad. Well by time I got one of those spots and got upstairs it was 10:25. I just sat my butt down when I was called in. I was not at all happy with that. I tried all day to call the office and all I got was busy. I just think that was terrible. He was a young fellow and he could have eazily parked on the street. I can't and that's why I have the HC parking sign. It's too bad some people are so ignorant.

he needs to be reported first report to the police and give them the number of his truck and tag number if you have it he had no right to talk to you this way.a message need to be sent to him, to let him know what he did wrong that day call your in state police and make a big deal out of it since he don,t care and think he has gotten away with it this is a selfish act to treat the handicappe this way if he was in a wheel chair are had problems walking he would want a handicappe place to park this makes me mad when you mistreat the disable thank you so much for sharing

i hate these irresponsible + selfish people, too !!!
it pi$$es me off seeing people using the designated space and make a 'so-what, i-dont-care'face.
they somehow think that the parking space will never be used because handicapped people dont/cant drive - they somehow forget that the handicapped maynot drive them the car themselves, that some other person maybe driving the vehicle...
that is why, over here in my country, i see more and more shopping complex - block /lock their 'handicapped parking spaces', and the people who really needs and deserves to use them will have to go look for the security or parking attendant. it is a bit of a hassle, and it really shouldnt be like that.. but i guess it is a better alternative than having 'fools' park their vehicles where they are not supposed to..
btw... luv your avatar.. scary but luvly...

i think this is a shame parking in handicappe spaces what if it was you and you needed a special spot to park and a able body person was parked there you would feel like the most people here feel.i think it is just being selfish and only thinking of yourself .one thing for sure here in this world we as a people is not going to stay young and healthy so think about that the next time you want park in a handicappe parking.

these spaces are for handicappe people not for health people who able to walk and do things for themself.these people have special needs to park there this is not right if you park in a handicappe place and you are not handicappe.

I agree that it's rude and selfish to use the spaces if you aren't handicapped. Just because something is easy it doesn't mean it's right or OK. Some people are so self centered and have no respect for others.
If it's possible then I definitely think that the public should report it.

I think that it is wrong and that they need to leave them for the handicap peple. I think that they should raise the fine so it will let people know how serious they are.

my mother is handicapped and I can not tell you the number of times we have seen cars parked without stickers on them in spaces reserved for the handicapped. I don't think you should park in a space that is reserved for those who can't walk long distances from car to store.
I think it is rude.
