Do You Fast Forward Unimportant Scenes in the Movie?

I'm A Movie Spoiler - I sometimes don't watch the whole movie because I skip some of its unnecessary scenes.

I've tried fast forwarding a British movie because they've a lot of talking and conversations from the actors. I was too bored to listen to these nonsense (for me) talks and I made a fast forward click so it would reach immediately to the climax of the story. DO YOU DO THAT THING TOO?^^,

indian movies have a lot many songs.. o we usually forward those.. and then when with family we fast forward love making scenes too..lol... cause it tends to get awkward when sitting with parents. wnglish movies are sometimes too slow to bear.. so i usually forward the scenes in which the characters simply talk of things not related anywhere to the story.. dumbly ogling at each other with the camera focussing on their eyes turn aftre turn..

same with me, i think that's an indian culture. they incorporate singing and dancing specially on the "getting to know each other" stage of the actor and actress. but, i pause it when the actress is sexy :)

Hi There. Yes, sometimes when the movie is too boring, I really get my remote control then fast forward it though I don't do it always because I love watching movies... but good movies. I am very picky when it comes to watching movies. Happy Mylotting! and Happy Holidays! Cheers!

In one word, Never. If a movie is boring to me, I don't watch it. I have too many cable channels that show movies and too many films on tape and dvd to stick with a film I deem boring. There are scenes in beloved films I will never see again. They are either too sad or horrifying or gross so I will fast forward. But would never fast forward over dialogue because it may be important to the film, especially if it is a mystery or crime drama.

Hehehe! I like watching the movie the whole movie my friend. Even though sometimes the movie is already dragging and you know what will happen next. Anyway have a nice day to you!

NOpe.. Especially if it's a new movie that i have not watched b4, and that my 1st time.. I will make sure to follow it thru no matter how boring it is.. BEcause i wanna know the whole story, and know the plot.. But if i'm watching it for the 2nd or 3rd time, i will make sure i skip the boring parts for i already know the story, and i will forward to the end or the most exciting part, watch it all over again.. lol =D

I fast forward movies i've seen before usually because my kids want to get to the main part of the movie and are bored with the setting up. It keeps the kids interested!

Not really. I like sitting through movies unless I have very little time then I'll try to get to the good parts. If I'm watching a movie for the first time I definitely don't fast forward. There have been times where the movie was so bad I had to fast forward because it felt twice as long, lol. I think that is the only time that I don't care if I miss something.

For me it's a joy to listen all the conversation of a well written script in a movie. Charlie Kaufman is the best writter in my opinion and he always provides great "talk-only" scenes.
