Have you or do you use diet pills to loose weight? If so which ones have you used? Were you successful at all with the use of diet pills? Or were you more seeing more results with diet and exercise alone?

I admit to using diet pills way back when I was in college. The pills were suggested by a friend of a friend who is a model. My friend and I tried it and it worked, actually, but not without the side effects!
The first time I took the pill I had a hard time sleeping! I must've went more than 24 hours without sleep no matter how much I tried to. The weird thing is my energy level went up a bit even after the sleepless nights. Another side effect was the palpitations. I could feel my heart beating fast even when doing simple tasks as moving from bed to chair or something. I also noticed that my skin went dry, even after applying much lotion on.
I lost about 10lbs in 2months but after experiencing all the side effects I stopped using them. Eyebags, dry skin, and racing heartbeat are proofs that pills aren't the way to go. Learned a lesson there.

I was taking phentaramine by prescription, I was losing 10 to 15 pounds a month, but it caused chest pains and now i have high blood pressure, so it works, but it can be dangerous. Now i'm trying to kick the soda habit and exercise instead.

No I haven't. And I will not try it. I heard a news before that it caused a mild heart attack to the one who took it. She was hospitalized for a few days because she was still under observation. Bangkok pills are very popular here and some users said that it was really effective. I prefer natural way of losing weight because its safe and effective though it would take time. ^^,

I used to use diet pills but they did not work in the long run. Yes it help me loss weight right away but you have to keep taking them to keep the weight off. I would just try to loss weight the old fashion way. I find that keeping a food diary helps me control what I eat and the amount. Also with the food diary, be totally honest with yourself. This way you know what you need to adjust in your diet. Also invest in a good kicthen scale so you can get your portions correct. This will help a lot with lossing weight.

I personally haven't taken anything of the sort BUT, I have an uncle who was VERY overweight and he started to take these things called "apple cider vinegar pills". I wouldn't really call them diet pills, but they worked for him. All he did was take these pills before meals (as directed on bottle), go the gym twice a week, and he started to drink flavoured water instead of soda. I swear to you he's lost over 50lbs!! Over the last few years doing it. Not sure where to get them in the States but you can buy them at a store called The Nutrition House if you live in Canada. Good luck (don't try anything dangerous now!).
