Hey, all friends here. Since e-mail developed so fast, it really brings us lots convenient and saves much time. at the same time. the traditional mail seems a little bit faded out. Seldom guys write letters anymore. But i do miss the old way of telecommunication. A pretty paper wearing a clean, neat words ,covered with a white or colorful envelope. Reading the words just feel like he/she is standing besides u and murmuring by ur ears. I love this feeling. On festival, i would like to send some cards to my friends, i love to see their sweet smile . how do u think about letter? will u write letters to your friends? thank you for sharing best wishes

I do from time to time write letters, but not really to my friends, but like to my grandma or another family member because I think they like to get a little something in my handwriting talking to just them. I like seeing their smile or when they say how much it brightened their day. I have also written letters to some ladies from church.

I agree. I also send snail mail, cards to family and relatives especially those who are really far away. Even though they have Internet as means of our communication, it's still nice to send them cards just to let them know that they are remembered and still loved.

Hi babyorchid...I think I would not be a person who like to write a letter to friends but I like to send cards to my friends. Usually for their birthday and most of it for 'Hari Raya Puasa' celebrations day after we finish our fasting. That day would be a happy day for everyone as it like a winning day for our fights against against passion for food, drink,s*x,and other bad things. And it is a tradition for us to give cards to each other.=)

As you said above since e-mail has become so popular, the thought of sitting down and writing a letter is almost unheard of anymore. I do not write letters to my friends, although I will occasionally send them a card. Pretty much the only time I write a letter is if I have to inform my landlord of something important. Other than that, I personally, do not write letters. Although, I do not e-mail my friends that often either, I tend to text message them throughout the day. When you think about it text messaging is more common amongst friends than e-mailing is now. It is much faster, and more convient.

You are right, they are more people prefer using email instead of writing letter. I'm one of them ;-) But i do like the feeling of receiving the letter or greeting cards from my friends. I would feel so sweet. It's kind of different feeling from receiving emails or e-cards. Normally from the letters, i could feel the sincere of my friends. It warms my heart truly. But, i'm kind of person who is extremely lazy. Before college life, i always wanted to write the letters to my friends, even i had already written, i just left it there, and never sent it out =_= Finally, the letters would just be there for years. Haha... I think i'd better use email. ;-)

In fact, I more prefer old way of telecommunication. The feeling when you are reading a letter and email is actually different. Perhaps I could feel the handwriting...haha. Nowadays, techonology growths fast...email & sms is very common and we can just deliver a message in a second. Although it can saves much time, I am still miss the outdated way..

Yeah, technology today has made things very fast and convenient but, nothing could ever replace the nice feeling of receiving mail. One could type as much as they want on email and you wouldn't have to worry about the space since everything that you can think of will be there when it arrives to those that you intend to send your message. However, you need a computer with internet connection as well as power to turn everything on, something that real letters in envelopes don't need at all. No kind of font style or font size will ever replace the words that were hand written by a person who had their feelings when they were writing the letter. The feeling of holding that letter give us that unique sensation because we know that, the person who wrote the letter also touched that paper while he or she wrote on it, making you think that that person is right there, something email won't let you feel as you are looking at the monitor. You only have to consider how long will it take for your letters to arrive and some expenses that aren't so expensive when you buy stamps. I will surely write to my friends on their birthdays, it seems more nicer that way than email or sending them messages of 'happy birthday' through mobile phones..

Hi. It's been a long time since the last time I wrote a letter, about in the first year of university. Nowdays, there are so many ways of on line communications plus telecommuncations. QQ, MSN, Skype and email, hehe. Actually, I don't use email to contact friends very often, except some complicated things that I need to write down very carefully. Friends chat are just very casual and is instant and interactive. Ok, thanks to the progress of science and technology.

I hardly send those this days, but i like the line you included there "Reading the words just feel like he/she is standing besides u and murmuring by ur ears", i like that. It is always a good feeling to receive something like a postcard that you can put right besides you bed's headboard and could look at it every now and then, but this days most people prefer the use of e-mail rather the old way of sending by post, and there are some computer software's that can make a really good and nice looking letter or card But if i feel that i need to send that someone an unforgettable message of which they will see each morning when they turn their head to it side....the i can send that with pleasure and wrapped with love.

hehe,i often commnicate with my friends useing telephone .but i also think writing letters is a better way to keep communitcation with our friends .because we buy letters by ourself ,write by ourself, delivery the letter by ourself.so the letter usually contains our real feelings.so the letter could let our friends feel much happier than emails and telephone. when i go after a girl ,i often write letters to her,i buy beautiful letters and sprayed the perfume.heihei,i think it is romantic!but unfortunately i also was rejected by her.altough that ,i still think it is better to wrrite letters to our friends.maybe we do not have enough time ,so we only have to email or telephone our friends.
