Do you use a budget for your spending?

I try to save most of what I make a week without spending it. I just like knowing that I do have some set aside so I don't have to worry much about money if something happens to come up. I don't really have a budget I just try not to spend a lot. I know my limits and keep to them unless I haven't bought anything for myself for awhile then I like to splurge.

You know what I have a budget I've been using for about 5 years now and it seems to work for me. What I do is take food money off the top then take my major bills like Rent, car note, cable, phone, eletric, gas, and break them down to every pay period. instead of paying them all at once I send in multiple payments. it may seem like alot but I use bill pay online with my bank and they send out all my checks. Also I take ten percent and save it, and another ten percent for leisure things like house hold products. I find by doing this I have more money left over each pay period in case of emergencies and I am never broke. And it keeps you current, for instance my car note is never late and if for some reason I get behind because I want to go out of my expense budget, the car company wont send me to collections because they know they will be receiving another payment that following week. you have to know your debtors and how they operate because it doesn't work for every company...

I have put a budget on myself so I can limit my spending on things I don't really need all that much. I budget it by alloting a certain amount to my bills always above the minimum then what I have left i either put into saving or I can use to get things that I want like a new pair of pants or so.

i try to live on a budget but sometimes it is vey hard especially since i had to quit work on account og hety reason. i have always had to watch my spending and now w/everything so high it's awful.
