I read an excerpt from the second book (The Black Rose) in a magazine once, and knew I had to read the trilogy. It combines two of my favorite things romance anf ghosts. I flew through it and read the whole trilogy in about 2 weeks. Has any one else read these and what are your thoughts? If you have not read them then I definately recommend you do so. The third book (Red Lily) is my favorite. I think because the main character is younger so I related to her more, but you need to read all three to get the whole story. If you have read and like this series can you suggest anything else along the same theme? I am reading Midnight Bayou now and it also has a ghost story in it, I will let you know about that one when I am finished.

I've read Nora Robert's In the Garden trilogy, and I'll say I like it, but I'm not truly wild about it. I would say, my favorite would be the first one, Blue Dahlia. I didn't really like the ghost angle but I know that what makes the storyline. I would say, so far among her trilogies, my favorite would be her Circle Trilogy (love the third story..but then there is a hot vampire involved..LOL) and the Sign of Seven trilogy (about three friends fighting a demon that plagues their town). Maybe its because I'm more into paranormal romance than anything else, although the ghost aspect in In the Garder should have done that for me too...
