I read somewhere today that there are new bats going to be intorduced for playing 20-20 cricket, which are flat from both the sides. So, do you think that now batsmen will easily hit above the wicketkeeper's head. What will happen to bowler's then? Please give your opinions on this new bat? Do you think it as bad or good for cricket?

Well it was obvious that the way the stokes were being played in the 20 over game they bats were not used for many matches. It is clean that if you play a lot of cross batted shorts then the bat is bound to break quickly. And then there is the factor of reverse shorts being played so many times. Yes I have heard that bats are made with blade on both side by which you can play shorts of both the sides of the bat. Although I say we should develop with time. But will this be a development to cricket or will it be a curse to the class of cricket. Or at all do you think T20 is a form of cricket. It is all rubbish played and cheered.

well,we are the common people who love to see ball aisinghigh what ever be the result, either a catch or a sixer. We love to see thatbcoz a mystery comes whether theb ball will be caught or not.The gane will change whatever be the bat,it will be good for the cricket according to me.

I dont think That would be good since not many cricket enthutiast would like the bat to be flat on both sides..even though cricket is changing people would not like to change the traditional things..

Ya! That's right, then the cricket will become to batsman friendly & we will see a lot of runs, and bowlers will just go for too many runs. Whether it is 20-20, 50-50 or a test match, batsmen & bowlers should be seen as equal. But, ICC may bring this bat to promote crikcet.

i dont think the flat bat give more advantages to batsman.it should not matter for a good player.

Yes, not much advantage, but now batsman will not have to turn his bat to hit a shot backwards and batsman will try to hit more in back bcoz there are less fielders there.
