I've come to realise that i spend more time here reading discussions than writing comments. I find it a very good way to learn about stuff by reading what other people has written. What about you? do you write more comments here or you spend more time reading?

hi jmp_72!
what i normally do is read the content of the topic i choose to answer to and if it fits the thing i have to say then i comment on it. if i see to it that whatever is on my mind that doesn't fit well and don't do any connection with the page then i leave it. that is it. i don't post and post anything without giving and relations to my answers. so my answer would be is that i do the same. hahah!
happy posting and happy mylotting!

Hi there jmp_72!
I personally spend more time reading than actually writing responses. For the past few days, I have been very busy that I do not get to do much of myLot activities. Despite that, when I get the chance to do my usual myLot activities, I still spend some time reading discussions. I am trying my very best to respond to the discussions I read.

I think read more then writting in mylot, but I do try to make some response after reading them too... but it's hard to always think of something to write on each discussion. I do learn alot of things while reading in mylot and get some information about things...

This is a very good discussion and I am sure that there are some people who spend more time on here reading discussions, and then there are probably people who spend more time on here writing discussions, and writing responses to peoples discussions, and writing comments to responses that people give on their discussions, and that is cool that you spend more time reading discussions than writing comments, and I agree a good way to find out stuff is to read what other people have written and you can get all kinds of perspectives and opinions on this great site since there are all kinds of people from different countries and different cultures on this great site, and I know I do try to read discussions and I try to read responses that other people put on discussions, and I always read every response I get to my discussions, but I think I usually spend more time writing responses to other peoples discussions since I usually try to do anywhere between twenty two and sixty responses a day,so I can make money for me and my fiance since we can not find a job right now due to the state of the economy, and the fact that gas prices keep fluctuating which is quite annoying, especially since we are saving money and planning our wedding which is set for September of next year,I think my fiance spends time reading discussions, and she also spends a lot of time writing responses to discussions, since she is also trying to make as much money on mylot as she can.

I spend more time reading more than posting as you do. However, I do not feel that I learn much from this site. xD I don't comment because I find many topics kind of pointless. I'm part of another forum, full of people my age, and they seem to post more constructive replies than many people here do.
There are certain people that I've noted who actually do use proper grammar but the majority, I can't help noticing, do not. And most of the people that I've seen here are all adults! It doesn't set a very good example, if you ask me. =\ Although I know this is a site for relaxing and just posting about everyday life or whatever, you have to keep in mind that what you say has to make sense - and a lot of the time, their replies just... don't.
If I was new to myLot (before joining my other forum), I doubt I'd learn to write with proper punctuation as I did there.
I know I went a bit off-topic, sorry. xD

I definitely read more than i write. It is fairly hard to find a discussion that you can reply to, so i end up reading a lot more than writing.

I might be spending a little more time reading, but I don't think that there is a huge difference between the two. Not for me, anyway. I don't really feel like I spend more time doing one and less of the other. I think it's about the same, with maybe a really small difference. But probably too little to notice. It might just be me though.

I love posting comments and setting up my own discussion. I read topics that are so interesting and educational.

You're right. Reading the posts is more of an educational tour. I've learned a lot in my six days here. Since I'm relatively new to this community, I tend to read more than write. But I am looking to participating more in the next few days.
